Friendly wave after an enjoyable run

Just want to thank the young woman in the very tidy silver Mk2 with whom I exchanged a friendly wave at Drumaness and then again at Carryduff where we parted company. I was returning from a lovely run through mid-Down.  Took the A1 southwards from Lisburn through lovely countryside all the way to Newry.  Thence alongside the canal and Carlingford Lough to Warrenpoint and Rostrevor.  The sea was blue, the fields were verdant green, the clouds were pure white cotton wool and the mountains were crisp clear.  A great run home by the Mourne Coast finished off with a gesture of friendship.  It’s comforting to know there are those who uphold the standard of etiquette.
