As I sold my Mk1 at the weekend to a very enthusiastic new owner, I went looking today at a Mk3 to replace it… Fatal mistake [:D]
As i came away having bought this:

It is gorgeous, it’s previous owner must have cuddled and looked after it as it is unmarked, a bit of haggling secured the car with 6 months tax and Eibach’s. Now I have to wait until the 29th to pick it up as I’m working away this week [:(]

looking forward to getting my hands on it… i have to agree about red, although True red is a bit bright for me. I didn’t like Velocity red on the RX8 but it looks great on the 5.

Looks good! I can sympathise about having to wait to pick a car up though… I went to test drive mine last weekend, didn’t want to make a decision straight away, decided a day or two later that I wanted it, then had to wait most of a week to pick it up! [:(] Still, I’ve got it now, and it was worth the wait, and I’m sure yours will be too!
Very nice - It will love the roads down Brixham way as well, just mind the tourists!!
[:D] It will indeed love the drive, to what will be my workplace in Kingswear, a superb twisty lane. The enforced wait is partly my own fault wanting the lowering springs fitted to complete perfection.
Then it will be mopped with Clearkote glaze and waxed with Carnuba so that it drips Velocity Red…
Now I’m getting over excited. Off to go and read STHT again.
Just make sure that they do the full geometry re-alignment correctly after the Eibachs are on (get a before and after printout done and double check it with Tony at WIM), and that they don’t leave the bolts off the suspension mountings ;o)
Thanks for the advice Paul, I will e mail them to remind them. I was going to get a full geometry check done locally, by a highly recommended company after 500miles… he does my mate S2000 and the rest of the Clubs.
