Funny squeal from dash when turning the key to start on cold morning

I got this funny iiiiiiieeeeeeee when I turned the key to start this morning.  I had the belts tightened the other week,  I am guessing its the electric charge or the starter motor.  tonight when it rained and I started it, it was fine no noise.  It did not come from the engine, from the dash, is it because of the cold weather??

I have got a panasonic battery in the shed I bought of an owner who was breaking his K reg mx 5 up, the battery that is in was there when I bought it two years ago.  I have the tray and everything, but no tubes, who should I take it to if I want the battery changing, got the clamp etc but the old battery is so difficult to remove, anyone know anybody who can do it for cheap?

I used to have squeaks coming from the dashboard area and I found in my case it was the vibrations of the engine that caused the doors to move ever so slightly so that the vinyl trim between the door and where it touches the ends of the dashboard was squeaking. The main problem was due to 15 years of opening and closing the doors, the hinges were worn, new hinges cured it.
