Rust, rust and rust, get your head under the car, feel and check the rear wheel arches, and if possible check the front chassis rails and sills for rust.

I can’t say rust too many times!

Are you buying it from a local dealer in the North West?

The only advice I would add is be prepared for sellers to be in denial about the extent of rust on their cars.
