Going along the coast road in Southport I flashed a burgandy 5 with the roof down the nice man waved back that was nice, then I saw another one a silver one roof up(in this weather I ask you) and waved and nothing looked at me as if I was on another planet, I am sure it is not that hard to acknowledge someone.
Yea, But have you ever waved to another '5 driver then realised that your not driving your '5 on this trip… They look back at you like your some sort of nutter, Or stare and trying to think where they might know you from. [:D]
Not everyone is an ‘enthusiast’ so that’s probably why, even though I agree it doesn’t
’hurt’ to acknowledge someone.
Saying that … by people being like that it makes even better when you do actually
get a wave back. [:D]
I do it all the time regardless to what car I’m driving, but I’m also shouting “I’ve got one of those”[:)]
LOL yeah Ive done that then you realise why nobodys taking any notice ( not that most of them do anyway) was up behind a silver mk2.5 this morning with personal n plate mx53 + GIRL/WOMANS NAME in Wakefield heading from Normanton to Wakefield centre. So next time you see me Sue and I wave PLEASE wave back
Mike
