I’ve just joined from another forum that closed last year. Shows how much I visit for info on our car.
We have had our MK1 now for 4 and a half years. Still loving it and still bored waiting for something to break on it.
I’ve just rejoined cos today i’m finally goin to change the timing belt that i bought within a week of buying the car so I will be looking through the posts to see if there are any issues i’m likely to come up against.

I used to be in the Alfa Romeo owners club and their forum was the complete opposite!

Well, thats the belt taken care off. Decided to swap all three along with the Rocker Gasket and the Idler/Tensioner wheels.
No issues. Nice and straight forward.
I loved that reply previous about Alfa owners. I can relate to that because my real car love is Triumph Stags. One keeps the the ickle Eunos company every night.
