Be careful with the modifying, know the risks. I thought I knew the risk and could handle chrome vent rings (others were doing it and they seemed OK), what harm could 4 chrome rings do my wallet?
…now on to induction kit, exhaust, etc. Thinking of a BEGI turbo kit and new wheels.
It’s not a problem, I could stop if I wanted, honest… [:)]
All it took was one mx5parts glossy catalogue to hook me (I blame the dealer!!).
Yep, it all started with the mats, then can the style bar won from mx5parts on fleabay and then on colection apparently the car required the discounted K&N panel filter, chrome vent rings, hazard switch ring, clear side repeaters, then of course a genuine mazda stlye bar, windblocker and stainless grill came up for grabs, so now have surplus stylebar to sell on already I have spares.
Oh and as the car is really for Sally I had to invest in a Triumph Speed Triple upgrade to match the toy now on the drive.
I should have known better. I have suffered a similar fate with 2 wheels. A set of DHM mushrooms on my R6 was all it took. I know triumph have a lovely bolt-ons catalogue, be warned!
Hi. I’m a newbie in Hampshire too - got my mk 3 in January and love it. Just had to send you a post as nearly fell off chair when I saw your user name - Ive just purchased a personalised number plate for mine ‘MX05 BOO’.
Am planning to go on some of the local events too and hoping there’s going to be another sunday drive round the New Forest. Maybe see you there!
