Hi, just brought mk1 and handbrake bottom is stuck! The wooden type, any ideas on this, would be very greatfull
First off make sure the wooden sleeve hasn’t slipped forward on the lever. This warm weather can cause things to shift. If not you can slide the wooden sleeve off (twist and pull action) and take a look where it’s snagging.
I had one do the same once a little fettling and all sorted. BTW the button twists off too normal right-hand thread.
Once the hand grip is off, light spray of WD40 may be your friend.
