I have bought a MkI roof for my MkII which now needs an adaptor to mate the two HRW connectors together. Is there such a beast as i was lead to believe, or do i need to get something “knocked up”?

I’ve just bought a Mk1 hardtop for my Mk2 and was looking for the adaptor last week. I think you can only buy the whole wiring loom (part no: NC11-67-060A). Even some second had prices where £80+The best I could find was by going onto www.Breakeryard.com and submitting a part request, I got an offer from a company called International Car Spares for £26 delivered.It arrives tomorrow, so I will let you know if it was the correct part.
