Hi,

I am looking to purchase a new hardtop for my 1990 1.6 Roadster as the current one has seen better days. Once i have a new one i might try a little re-spray myself on the old one.

Anyhoo…my 5 is classic red and wondered what peoples thoughts were on a different coloured hardtop and if anyone has seen any nice looking ones on a red 5.

Contrasting hardtops can look really good as long as you have a modicum of good taste!

I would suggest black or silver with red. In fact,black or silver will look good with most colours - best on base colours rather than metallics.
