Hello to everybody from a new forum member and MX-5 owner [:D]
Apologies if I’m asking a question that has already been answered elsewhere, but can anybody offer any advice about rollbars? I have a '91 Mark 2 (I think) model, which already has a wind deflector fitted.

A 91 car would be a Mk 1
Are you after proper roll bars or style bars? There is a big differance in price. Depends on whether you just want something to look nice or something to protect you should the worst happen…God forbid.
Maybe you could post up a picture of your car so we can see what your wind deflector looks like.
Heres a picture of mine which is a style bar with built in glass windbreak. (would offer little if any protection in a roll though but i like it)
Did I say '91??! I meant 2001 - just a decade out there! I’m after proper roll bars really. I do like the look of a lot of the style bars (yours looks particularly cool) but I’d rather have the protection (nothing to do with my driving of course…).
I’ll sort out some photos and see if I can stop being a technophobe for long enough to post them!
