You need to drive as many examples as you can, to get an idea of what you get for your money. People have paid over £3k for a Mk1 recently, and another guy in Yorks paid £500 and is having a ball with it

Good luck with finding a Mark 1, i guarantee if it’s a good one you won’t regret it!
As Geoff says try a few out to get a feel of what is good and what is not, and also be sure to read the Mark 1 buying guide which is located in the ‘R&D’ ‘Buying Advice’ forum.
