Hello from the North East

Hi folks,

Im 21 and from the north east, and im happy to say that last Saturday i got my very first MK1 Eunos Roadster.

From as far back as I can remember I always hated the “chav-boy-racer” who bought the nice economical family supermini and then proceeded to sink the suspension lower than a mini-moto, fit performance sapping tinny sounding exhausts and install more blue neons than you would expect to see on a police car. Thats why i swore that if i ever had enough money to get a “decent car” i’d buy a car that was intended to be a sports car

I always liked the MK1 CRX & MR2… but was totally unaware of the MX5 until a good friend of mine (who picked up an MK1 mx5 from ebay for about £500) took me out in one! I instantly fell in love with the car and 2 weeks later I decided to get my own!

Im not exactly mechanically minded so I may ask some stupid questions! … as a result im probabaly not going to be able to offer much trouble-shooting advice (yet) to do with the mx5… however by day im a computer technician so anyone who wants any PC/Computer related advice please feel free to PM me - i’ll be happy to help!

Anyway… without further ado… heres my 1994 1.8 white Eunos Roadster (along with my mates very tasty 92 UK MX5)

Coming from the North East I am glad to see your 5 is black and white.Nice motor enjoy,.

Welcome, regarding the technical questions - we have regular tech days in the Tyne Tees area and all are welcome. One coming up in May (details to be arranged)

G’day mate, welcome to the Forum

Hello, from the North East too.  The car looks good, better nick than mine, but hopefully some work this year will tidy it. Excellent choice of motor the Mk1 - classic style without too much hassle.

Maybe see you driving around, so don’t worry if a green 5 flashes its lights.

Cool, i’ll keep a look out for ya [Y],  the only flashing lights i worry about are the blue ones that go “nee-naw” and then expect you to pull over. [:P]

Hello and welcome FireArm[:)]
