My girlfriend is very near to being a fully qualified Beauty Therapist and would like to start practising as a Mobile Therapist in the very near future. She needs to sort out some form of liability insurance but must admit we’re both a bit ‘lost’ on where to go and what to go for and how much it is likely to cost ??
Would anyone be able to point us in the right direction and maybe give us a rough idea on how much it’s likely cost ?
Is there some kind of organisation for beauty therapists with whom she has to be registered in order to practice? If so they should have some recommendations for public liability insurance.
My wife is an acupuncturist and the same applies, she has to have public liability insurance. The professional organisation (British Acupuncture Council) has some information on suitable insurers, but I’m afraid I don’t know which one she uses.
