Help!…new owner confused with battery flattening!

My tick over has always been very slightly erratic So I wouldn’t know if it was due to taking my bat lead off, I live with it. It’s nice to not have a battery drain to contend with, Best regards from Ray Hill Epping Essex

Neither of our cars, ND1 and ND2 have had any issues with removing the battery leads. The only thing that happens is that you lose some of the trip meter information.

Yes, You do, I hadn’t realised this. I thought that my car was doing very badly on petrol consumption So yes When you take the battery lead off it fails to add the milage on that had already been made since you pressed the reset button. Etc, It is lost ! And the computer doesn’t add it back on… So a very Good point …. Thanks … Best regards from Ray in Epping Essex
