I’ve recently posted a problem that I’ve had with my pop ups not working from the column switch. Mx5 parts advised getting a replacement switch rather than a relay which I have now got. However, I cannot get the steering wheel off and need a clamp removal tool for the job. Does anyone living near West Bromwich have one I could borrow. Happy to donate to a few pints!

BINGO finally got it released. Rubber mallet, my new found tool.
Usually the wheel will come off without a puller (which are cheap from Machine Mart). Loosen but don’t remove the wheel centre nut. A few thumps from behind should break the stiction. Leaving the nut on saves the wheel from taking out your teeth
The NC SW comes off easily with a firm grip on both sides and wiggle. I’ve also done an NB SW in similar fashion, definitely leave the retaining nut on the end of the shaft as said😁
