Can’t speak for things like trackies…never worn them. I think the trick is to get some protection on the leather before use, ideally from new but asap in any case. Apart from all that, the leather balm smells absolutely wonderful!

At one point the Recaros were ~£4k per seat from memory if you wanted to buy them! They are now part of thre top trim which is ~£2k more than the previous.

There is a massive difference with the top up! When I first sat in a soft top I went around checking all windows and doors were closed because it was so noisy compared to my RF (they were all closed).

I guess pricing like this could have been a nail in Recaro filing for bankruptcy coffin

I had that paranoia too, which is why mine now sits on JR30. The original wheels are wrapped up in the garage!
