Hi, i’m Terry. I’ve owned a copper red mk3 2l sport soft top from new since aug 08. Having had lots of fun previously with a (dare I say) 74 mg midget, i’m looking forward to a long and rewarding time with the MX . Oh, by the way I’m 60, so its time to have the fun with mod cons.

Hi Terry, There’s an unofficial but enthusiastic Mk1 User group in Chesterfield if you want to meet up sometime. 
There’s also an official North East Midlands meeting on May 2nd at Stretton Village Hall opposite the Brobot Jet petrol station on the A61 south of Chesterfield if you want to join in. It’s a fiver for the day. There will be slot car racing, a BBQ if the weather’s good, (not sure if it’s extra for that though?) a mini-Autojumble and maybe other stuff going on and there may be one or two other Mk3 owners and their cars there too. No guarantees on that though, as I don’t have a full attendance list yet. Should be plenty of earlier cars there though. (Mk3’s still seem to be a bit scarce around here, although that is gradually changing.)

Hooray for Chesterfield! I used to have a Midget many years ago which I loved to bits. It was a rubber bumper abomination but we converted it to chrome bumpers - looked so much better!
