hi, im kris.

im 20 year old and i live near wigan(lancs) and drive a black 1999 mx5[Y]

 and this is my baby

 

 

the wheels are being replaced next week as they have spoilt the way the car drives as there stupidly heavy, so have ordered some nice 5kg per rim wheels from rota rims to try and get the kerb weight down

Wheels look pretty good I think - shame they’re a bit of form over function though.

I to am a new member to the club and the mark, went on a test dribe and was totally smitten, view a 1999 MX5 in BRG and purchased it, having some minor scuffs done on the bumbers so hoping to collect in a week or so, I found the genuine friendship and advice on this forum second to none, maybe we will meet up one day at a meet till then enjoy a delightful car.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. The rotas are 15 inch slipstreams in anthracite, have ordered some anodised nuts for that jdm look. It is a shame about the current wheels but to be honest i am sick of cleaning them, i dont think i could of chose a worse combination of colours for showin up dirt. I will check the forum out cheers Snowman. Caroline im originally from banks so around southport all the time so will look out for you. Kris

I actually live in Coppull, but not many people have heard of it[:^)], so i normally say Chorley.

I have a white MK1. As you can probably tell from my picture at the side[<:o)]

I normally use my Honda Deauville for going to and from work, so dont be alarmed if someone starts waving at you from a blue Honda!!![*-)]
