Been loitering for a while, so time to introduce myself…
I have met a few of you from the eastern region at meets with my sis “cc” (before buying my own 5) and am keen to meet up with more local people from the Midlands.
I bought my mx5 2.5 in Arizona Yellow back in October. It is a 2002 and is called Eric (a dubious link to 80s cartoons). My first MX experience was driving it back from Wales in the snow. Since then i have been out with the roof off every weekend, as long as it isn’t raining. It is a fabulous car, and i love it!! It is hard to believe that much fun is legal!
Have waved at a few of you already!
Sadly, i have been out in the fab weather today and some, erm person, in a Merc has smacked into the back of me dinging my bumper. Does anyone know of any good repair places in the West Mids/ Worcestershire area?!! Grr. It has not put me off, but i am slightly annoyed after spending so long selecting and getting my previously immaculate car. The lesson i take is stay clear of Merc drivers!
The only issue with that plan is that you shouldn’t put the roof down when wet.
Anyway, to answer your question, I don’t have a clue, but somebody will soon - might be worth posting in your area forum if you have not done so already.
Welcome to the club anyway, car sounds like it’s/was(!?) very nice
greetings Al. shame about the kraut. (is that allowed nowadays?) who cares.
try as i might i cannot find get the link dubious or otherwise to the cartoon. please put us out of our misery.
i said eric the half a bee but that’s years earlier from Python. showing my age now.
i have a good paintshop address in stourbridge but my accident repairer was my son inlaw (see my photobucket) so cannot recommend a repair shop
[:D]
Eric the school boy who lived a double life at Acacia Avenue?
Bananaman!
Thanks for the advice. Been round two Mazda dealers today as they are the only ones who fancy their chances at matching the pearlescent paint [:(] Still at least someone else is going to have to pay the bill…
I will definitely wave at you when I see you round town!
