hla clatter

 hi

my '91 eunos has covered 140,000km and the hla clatter on start up is becoming quite loud and lasts for a lot longer too.

is there anything i can do to improve matters.

 

i was thinking maybe an engine flush and some thinner oil?

 

dont want to dislodge any sludge in engine and make matters worse.

 

any ideas?

The Wynns treatment seems to be the favoured method.

Mobil1 0W 40 cured my clatter completely.
