How much power can a VLSD from a 1.6 Mk1 handle?

Anybody know what the 1.6 VLSD Eunos diff can handle reliably?

First off, does it still actually work?

Yes, it leaves 2 nice black strips on the tarmac when power launch Big Smile so all seems well.

 an open diff will do that! can it do donuts!

Engines , gearbox and all the drive train has often taken 250bhp on lots of occasions quite comfortably .
