hi,
i’m thinking of changing the indicator stalk in my 1990 v spec for the later ind/wiper fitting in later mk1s, (the bent arm jobby). has any body tried this, does it fit/work? thanks for any help on this,

Don’t think it really works.
Here’s the bent stalk assembly:
Besides different switch shapes, Mazda incorporated the intermittant control in the switch, but in early cars, its in the wiper motor. I think you will need thr switch assembly, 96-97 column shroud, and the indicator cancelling parts. Additionally, when I changed my 1996 Momo steering wheel for a Nardi wheel, I found that Mazda used a spacer on the steering column:
Without it, for some, the newer stalks might obscure view of the gauges. I prefer the earlier style.
thanks for the reply saz, it looks as tho’ it may be a bit of a pain, rather than a quick swap. i just fancied a change
