Jan's new baby

Finally got around to taking some proper shots today of Jan’s new Mk 3 1.8

Run in nicely - certainly a lot punchier than her old 1.6 Mk 2.5, touching wood no problems so far.

Mmmmm not sure why the pics don’t line up correctly - they look OK when composing the post…grr

Very nice, don’t forget to have a go in it yourself, if the missus lets you that is[:)]

Ben.

 All looks very smart [Y]

The issues with the images is that in “Preview”, you don’t have the menu bars at the side, so the ‘screen’ is effectively wider.
640x480 is the largest size that will fit properly, although the aspect ratio of your ones makes 600x400 a bit better [Y]
What I tend to do when I have to resize pictures, is make them links to the full size versions.

Thanks for that - I did look in the FAQ re how to post pictures and tried to suss out a max picture size and there was no mention, anyway you’ve got them sorted so thanks for that.

I’ve got plans to get some nice step by step guides sorted out for things such as that, which will contain recommended sizes and so on.

Oh, and when I said “menu bars”, I meant the user info to the side of the post with the avatar and so on - don’t know where menu bar came from!

 needs lowering a tad…

A few have said that but trust me Jan needs no excuse or assistance to go faster around the corners

  • also I agree might make it look better but I didn’t want aggro with ro-ro ferry ramps and some of the viscious speed humps installed around these parts.

I wish there was a compromise point between official (ie non-warranty-invalidating) Mazda Eibach 30mm (35?) drop and stock height - I agree they look too high on stock, but I also agree that speed bumps become a real scraping pain when down on Eibachs.

Hi P&K,

Cheers -

PS we need pics here of your new Mini - great little cars - sorry if posted elswhere and I’ve not spotted

As soon as it arrives I will try and sneak some on - it is ‘somewhere in country’ and I am waiting for delivery  lol

They’re made in Cowley at Oxford. not that far from Kent…[;)]

Possibility of meeting half way maybey???[:P]
