Waxoyl is messy, and a pain to use, IME.
It also covers stuff up, so you can’t tell what’s happening underneath. Both Bilt Hamber and POR15 do clear products that are easier to work with, more resilient to weather and scrapes, and show what is going on underneath.
But don’t take my word for it, here’s someone who actually does this every day, for a living:

There are far far better products on the market now , but regardless of the product used for the underneath and cavity wax, if its applied on top of rust or is not prepped correct you will be wasting your money and solving nothing , plus it does need to be checked every 12 months, because it is not a ultimate cure to stopping rust, its about controlling it.
