Bought a MK3 recently from Copart and have just don’t all brake components, (disks pads and calipers.) brakes work when the engine is off build and hold pressure, will stop when rolling in neutral, Issue is when the engines on, brakes don’t hold pressure, pedal will build when pumping but will lose pressure as soon as I stop. Soft pedal till the last quarter car will stop with the brakes but will not slow down. Master cylinder did run dry and brakes worked fine when driving home from Copart (2hours). Just looking for advice had one person saying maybe the ABS systems needs bleeding electronically? Or a new master cylinder ?
