I still don’t agree with banning the advertising, BUT they should be made to make very clear the odds of winning each prize.
e.g Lottery
Lotto jackpot: 1 in 45,057,474
EuroMillions jackpot: 1 in 139,838,160
Set For Life top prize: 1 in 15,339,390.

I fully agree.
And also exactly where the money goes, I think the National Lottery are pretty good at that but the other lotteries / charity competition say things like, at least £X donated to charity, or a minimum of X% normally written in transparent writing on the lightest background of the advert. It should be clear when its not a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation.
I don’t agree with banning gambling adverts. I think responsible advertising can actually help people make informed choices. Personally, I’ve seen ads for online casinos, and they guided me to a safe and regulated platform where I enjoy playing games like poker and slots.
