I’ve got a 2008 build NC, first registered in 09. It’s a manual 1.8 but I’d really like to fit a limited slip diff. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Here is some useful information on this.
It seems that the five speed box fitted to both 1.8 and 2.0 NC is the same so if you found a limited slip diff off the 5 speed 2.0, it would probably fit straight on with the correct ratio.
Six speed has a different ratio but I imagine still do-able.

yes you are correct the 2.0 five speed is a LSD and will work lovely, the six speed will be too ‘tall’ for the 1.8
