Hello - I have recently taken off the windscreen cowling to get at the wiper linkages. In doing so, I’ve had to destroy one of the plastic captive nuts that hold the cowling in-place.
Last year I got the windscreen replaced and had to destroy one of the ones from the middle too.
Part numbers are:
50-841B (F044-51-912)
50-798 (NA01-50-798)
If I could get a set to replace the lot, that would be great. I’ve seen that Bofi do them, but replacing 7 plastic nuts for £25 is crazy.
If anyone has any tips of any “Universal” eBay specials that might fit that would be ideal!
I got it done on the insurance - Autoglass came out to do it. It’s quite good that I got it done as there was some rust developing around the frame which then needed to be removed before fitting so Autoglass ended up coming out 3 times… First the bolts on the windscreen cowling were rusted and some needed drilling out so couldn’t take the windscreen out, I sorted that and then he took the windscreen out and found the rust, then again once I’d sorted the rust out
