Mazda 3 Sport Nav

My daughter has a 2009/2010 Mazda 3 Sport Nav.

When she bought it, it had no SD card for the navigation unit.

This wasn’t really an issue, she wasn’t bothered.

However, a few weeks ago, the battery went flat, when we got the car running again, there’s a message in the console about ‘program not loaded’

Whilst having no navigation wasn’t an issue, the message displayed is annoying as the trip computer and clock etc don’t work.

Would anyone happen to know if the system in the Mazda 3, is the same as the one in the MX5 ?

And if it is, could someone provide a mazda part number for the SD card ??

If it’s like my CX3 the card is coded to the VIN number. That said these are often on Ebay very cheap so worth a try, especially if they offer returns

I’ve seen cards on ebay, i’ve just no idea which one is the correct one.

Is it a Mazda3 BL with the small Nav screen that sits forward on the dash? If so, then the Nav in that is different to the MX-5, from memory it’s unique to the BL, not fitted to any other Mazda.

Don’t go to the dealers they will want between 500/700 pounds try ebays …

Its a MK2 Mazda 3, the nav screen is a small screen forward of the dash.

I think I may have identified the p/n to BCD1 66 EZ1

However, there are only 2 on ebay at £80 each, and they are listed as used, so may be locked to another system.
