Just wondering if <a href='http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/625/">a pair of these will work on my 1.8i S Mark 1 which has electric mirrors. I know they will fit and will work manually, but if i can’t connect them to the electrics like my mirrors are now, then i shall not bother!

They are not electic. However, you can get Mk chrome electric mirrors, usually on Vspec IIs. Keep looking for them.

I have another question!
How easy is it to replace electric mirrors on the Mark 1? i mean is there any cutting of the electric cables required or do they just plug in?
