At the recent AC’s Workshop in Coventry, Helen Wilkinson (AC Liaison) had some Limited Edition (Batch of 400 only) Mazda UK MND Charity Pin Badges, available at a cost of £5 each, as this was Mazda UK’s selected charity.
Most AC’s took some away to sell to members and they are an excellent quality pin badge of the Mk1, celebrating 35 years (see attached photos below)
I bought one for myself, as I have a Mk1 and wanted to support the charity and I have five spare ones to sell to Solent Area members for £5 payable via PayPal to; solent@mx5oc.co.uk or you can pay cash at any of our Solent Area Events, as I will have them with me
Available on a first come first served basis, so be sure to contact me and secure yours now!
By way of an update, I now have just two of these excellent Pin Badges left now, so if you wish to secure one, please reply to this post soonest and I will put one by for you
I have asked Iain Fleming if there are any more Pin Badges available for Solent members to purchase.
Iain has come back to me this morning, saying he has just under 30 Pin Badges left and I can have some and he will give them to Roger Mead, for him to bring back south, next week at the NEC Classic Motor Show, which runs from the 7th -9th November.
So, if any more members would like a charity pin badge, please let me know soonest and I will ask Iain to give a batch to Roger and I will get them from Roger.
For a bit more amplification on what the Pin Badges are for;
The money is being split between two Cancer charities being supported by the MX5OC and helping with children and young people diagnosed with cancer, for treatment and care.
The reason these were chosen is that Stuart at Mazda UK’s daughter, was diagnosed Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 4 and has been undergoing treatment. So, a really worthwhile cause and Solent Area whole-heartedly support these two charities
Please buy one of these excellent Pin Badges to show our support and let me know by replying to this post if you would like one by 12:00 on the 5th Nov (should be easy to remeber) and I will order the badges from Iain and get them to you soonest.
