Regular monthly meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month, except January 2013 when it will be on the 9th.
We meet at the Caldecotte Arms, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes at around 19.00 for a meeting that starts at 20.00
Come along to our next meeting in January, we are having a quiz night, bit cold out there for tyre kicking!

Can you recommend a garage to do an MOT?.. im looking to get mine done in Jan as well

Not really I’m looking for a good one to, the last garage I went was rather strict and over the top if I do say so myself, said things where wrong with my 5 that were not , ( got a second a pinion )
So I’m looking, I’ve here’d that the mx5 specialist in Leighton buzzard is good I might try that one , you can get there detailed of eBay ,

You must mean Sulston Hills. Can’t say about MOT but I chose them to do my sills and I’m very pleased with the results. Discount for OC membership as well.
Yep , I know they don’t do MOTs but they might now a good place ?

One of their Ebay adds is showing free MOT with a full service so if they don’t do it themselves they must have a good contact.

The guys who have just moved to Leighton Buzzard are Sulston Hills, ask for Ben, he might be able to help you. They often come to the meetings at Caldecotte.
Also, if you are around Kempston, try King Edward Cars in Orchard Street, I have never taken the 5 to them as I use Northampton Motors but we had a Peugeot 205 and they kept that running sweet.

Iv just moved to Kempston. Anyone near me?? I’m used to having lots of friends and contacts that will help me out with the mx etc and a good garage that will do my MOT. Not here though… so looking for a mechanic that isnt strict like you said and has patience for a modded car (cage buckets lowered wheels etc). Definitely keep in touch and let me know if you find a good garage.
