Have you got a link?
I would advise hitting GoogleUK using the term ‘Tein coilovers MX5 Mk3 NC’
Doesn’t look like they come pre-assembled so I can just bolt them on though… There also appears to be loads of different variants of Teins!
It’s a minefield!
Yeah, they don’t come with topmounts. You pay for what you get.
BC Racing are similar to the Meisters, they may be in stock. If you choose those PM me, I can get you some sent out.
They use the original top mounts apparently… The BC racing ones look good, but they’re equivalent money to the Meisters!
I think I’m going to keep an eye out for the Sportives coming back into supply, I can hang on for a few months!
I have an NC1 and had the original Bilsteins with Eibach Pro lowering springs fitted which I found to be a really good all rounder of a setup (road use with occasional track use), but I changed to Meister Clubrace coilovers as my car has now turned into more of a track thank a road car. After installing the Meisters, I had a full geometry and corner weigthing setup at Roddisons, but despite this, I can’t beat my lap time at Cadwell that I set with the Bilsteins and Eibach Pro springs fitted! I think this is more to do with me not being brave enough to go any faster though
I would recommend the Meister Clubrace to anyone who is willing to fork out the money for them, as they are a really good upgrade over the standard setup and they have the adjustability for different driving scenarios. I purchased mine from Moss Europe when they had a sale on, they still cost £830 though.
The ZetaCRD’s are allegedly coming into stock mid March. Sportives are possibly late May according to my reply from Meister. This pandemic is really getting on my tits !!!
It isn’t Covid, there is a global shipping and shipping container crisis.
Not caused by Covid then, at all ?
All I know is there is a massive global shipping and shipping container crisis at the moment which is playing havoc with supplies from China and other far away destinations, closer to home Brexit is causing us problems with mainland Europe too.
Perhaps Covid has not helped, but i’m not sure. Remember China who ironically started the thing off recovered very quickly and it was back to normal.

I think it’s fair to say that since the announcement of Covid last year, every point of the globe has suffered from major supply chain issues in all aspects of all nature’s and trades, everywhere.
The fact we don’t get to know exactly what goes on in China because they conduct their business behind effectively closed doors doesn’t suggest to me they’re back in order, at all.
We read and we’re fed $h1t by our media and government so that and the disrupted supply of an awful lot of an awful lot of goods suggest it is Covid related, directly cos prior to early last year, there was no hassle getting anything from anywhere.
I did enquire about MeisterR Zeta CRD shocks for my NC and for some reason the sellers were all expecting stock in March.
Just get the MeisterR Zeta CRD when they are in stock, they look the best from a build quality perspective, have an excellent reputation on this forum and therefore the best value shock investment in my opinion.
The MX5 Restorer quoted me to supply, fit and alignment £950!
You might save £100 by buying HSD or Tein shocks but that’s £25 per shock, is it really worth it?
If you plan on keeping the car invest in good shocks.
Heard some bad things about the HSD and Teins when it comes to corrosion but there is a used set of MeisterR’s on ebay and they look in terrible condition so guess that depends on the person looking after them.
I had MeisterR Zeta Crd’s on my 1.8 MK2 and they were great. Helped with all the speed humps and potholes, doesn’t feel like you’re destroying your car as much, glides over a lot of the terrain issues.
Have to agree on this, China tried claiming they are covid free and back to normal when it is obviously not the case. I think it’s why there are no Cobalt exhausts at Moss, waiting for Asian imports, right now they are about 6 months behind.
Its also worth mentioning that people often forget about the bushes, drop links all affect the handing. Super Pro bush kit available form moss Europe. Alway worth replacing at the same time if starting to perish.
I’m fitting GT1s to my ND this weekend and still have drop links and Eibach ARBs to go on as well as a rear strut brace.
I’ve got a brand new set of MeisterR Sportives for my MK3.75 sat in a box in my garage waiting for the first oppertunity to get them fitted.
I’ll look forward to your thoughts…now get them fitted !!!
