Mixing tyre brands front to rear

 IS it okay to have different brands of tyres front to rear?

I have Toyo PX4’s on the front, but need 2 new rears, and am looking at Falken ZE912’s, as they seem to have good reviews and are a bit cheaper.

I would imagine the fronts have enough left in them for the summer, but would replace them with the same Falkens when they are done in.

I’m running the Falken ZE912’s on the front & Kumho’s on the rear & can’t say that I’ve had a problem with it, then again maybe I’m not pushing hard enough!!!

I’ll be replacing the Kumho’s on the back with Falken’s next time around, they’re not too bad tyres to be honest. Although my car seems to be really light on tyres & I get very little wear.
