When I first got my Mark 2 Icon I wrote to the old forum asking if the LCD clock should be lit when the dashboard is illuminated and was told that it should. I did nothing about it but recently had to take the radio out and thought I would reach behind the clock to see if I could replace the bulb - trouble is I cant feel anything like a bulb mounting. What should I be looking for ? Is there any way the clock and storage bin unclip from the wooden surround ? Thanks for any help. [:)]
If its an LCD clock then does not have a bulb!!!
If you have live feed to back then the LCD has failed and there is no option i know of other than to replace the whole clock.[:(]
There should be 2 live feeds… 1 permanent live and 1 that is either only live when ignition on or only live when lights are on.
Hope that helps!
I know an LCD doesnt have a bulb itself but wondered if there was some sort of backlighting otherwise its pretty useless at night.
