We’ve had our MX5 just over a year now and enjoyed it on a daily basis. It’s a 1.8 and doesn’t miss a beat despite being thrashed occasionally. Not everyone likes the yellow wheels but they’re definitely the tidiest bit! It has fibreglass wings (which I’d prefer to change), de-powered steering, strut brace, quick shift, part roll cage, Torsen LSD etc and has a gorgeous tone to the exhaust. Treating him (yes, him) to a new roof in a few weeks.
