Mk2.5 Tombstone seats vs Mk2

I’m 6’4" and have a Mk2 which I have subjected to a foamectomy. It’s fine but not as comfy as the normal seat.

A few years ago I sat in a 2.5 with tombstone seats and vaguely recalled the seating position being much better and more comfortable.

Just wondering if anyone has a Mk2.5 with the tombstone seats in the North Hampshire area that wouldn’t mind me having a seat to test before I go searching for a replacement pair of seats.

Do you just want to sit in a 2.5 or actually swap the seat into your Mk2? I have a 2.5 in Aldershot but not prepared to remove the seat.

Just sit in it would be enough. I’m just in Fleet.

The seat will sit too high for you. The seat base is approx 30mm higher
