Well, I promised pictures, so now it’s time to deliver! I got my camera back, so grabbed a few quick snaps at lunchtime.

Finally, it seemed fair to let my photographer get his car in there too… I hope nobody hates me too much for these ones!
It needs a bit of a clean from driving it around for a few days, and some evil cat decided it’d be fun to leave footprints on the bonnet, but I’m very pleased with it! I’ll do some more detail shots of it later, but I thought I should at least post a few!

Yeah, it’s my favourite of the colours. :-D I was considering settling for a dark blue one at one point, but then I saw this one, and could’t stop thinking about it!
Funny you should say that about the head gasket… His blew just before Christmas. :- He’s only had the car a few months as well… I hope for his sake it’s not a trend! That said, another of my friends got an MG F (not TF) a few months before that, and his has been fine, despite him travelling all over the country. I think it might be partly my fault that they’ve got them - I’ve been talking about getting a '5 for about a year, and finally got round to it! I want to get some good photos of all three of us out together - ideally Top Gear style, with the three roadsters next to each other pelting down a motorway. 
I’ve already started making a list of things I want to tweak or play with…

Actually caught myself lying in bed looking forward to going to work… Specifically for the “going to” part! I almost wish my commute was longer!

It might be interesting to swap cars with your mate and get some honest opinions of each others.
That’s not a bad idea - at the very least it’d be fun and an excuse to go for a drive! I’ll have to suggest it and see what he says!
