MK2 Hardtop Glass Replacement from MK3 Hardtop

Hi All,

I have been looking for alternative glass replacement for my MK2 Hardtop which has a smashed window. I have ordered the parts to carry out a Perspex replacement but recently came across a cheap rear window from a MK3.5 hardtop.

Does anyone know if these windows are the same dimensions?,

I have been struggling to find out any information about the window sizes or if anyone has done this swap before.

I don’t know the dimensions but I can’t see a MKIII hard top glass being the same as a MKII one.

Thanks for the response Robbie, I noticed that too but the foldable hardtop glass seemes slightly smaller?, Might just be a perspective thing

Any ideas where I can find parts numbers for the hardtop glass?

I can give you part numbers for the glass, but I can tell you now that they will not match.

In that case it’s ok, I’ll just continue with fitting the Perspex glass. Many thanks Robbie
