Just had a few days in the lakes and went up there in the MX5. A bit difficult packing the thing, but we did it in the end. 
Had some amazing weather up there (great for open top motoring).
Here are a few pics if anyone is interested. Can’t take the credit for these, my wife took them. (Nikon D50 + 18-70mm lens).

You don’t need a fancy camera to take good pictures though, a good eye for framing a picture is much more important. Things like digital SLR’s just allow you more creative options in differing light conditions.

You were right Lee, we just won first prize in the photo comp in the latest Softtop Hardtop. My wife was over the moon when it arrived today and we saw it had won. Very chuffed.
