More a Money Box rather than a Money Pit

The other day I seemed to be missing some loose change. A look round the house was unsucessful so I looked in the car. Like many owners I have my seat fairly well reclined and I now realise that this empties my trouser pockets and the coins drop between the seat and the transmission tunnel. Some coins were easy to retrieve but others hid under the seat rails. Eventually I recovered £7.54, enough for a pint and a half!

I drop keys down the side of the seat next to the door, learnt never to put them in my pocket, especially my hoodie pocket, they go straight to the centre console.

Did it reduce the rattles?

What, a pint isn’t £2 anymore?

For fifty years my dad used to think that a loaf of bread cost 4d.
