MX-5 Mk2 Need Some Trye and Alloy Advice

I am looking to replace the Tyes and Alloys on my Silver MK 2 MX-5.

This is the first time I have ever replaced a trye and alloy on a car so I could really do with some advice. I have 195 50 R15 tryes on my car at the moment.

Im looking for a set of tyres and alloys for arround sub £500.

Could anyone recommened some because i really do not want to buy the wrong ones.

Ok… ive found some tires and alloys i like at alloywheelworld. I actually saw them though somone elses car on here and thought they looked really nice.

Do you think this is a good deal?

What are you after?
I would personally recommend some nice Rota wheels.

But I am bias, as I sell them.

What style are you after? 5 spoke / Multispoke / Bling!

If you do a search on the old MX5OC site or MX5 Nutz you will see i have been looking after MX5 owners for a while

How much for Rota, 5 spoke silver wheels, 15" x 7" for a Mk 2.5 ? Possible fitted etc with tyres ? 195/50/15 ? 205…? RS2s or maybe Marangoni Zetas  ??? How much ? Are the wheels strong enough for brisk use bearing in mind the condition of our road surfaces.  I am sure that a representative quote would be of much interest not just to me.

Many thanks

Hope this info. will save you money. Do not be seduced by Rochford Tyres i.e. www.alloywheels.com. Prices seem great and I bought two sets from them, for Mk.2.5 17in. and same size for my son’s Mini. The metal finish is sprayed and just does not last. No mention of that fact in any wheel information! Mine were peeling after 14 months and (black underneath showing through, looks horrible) Rochford are just not interested in any rectification. My son’s are also peeling but at least alloy colour showing through. Rubbish wheels and rubbish company.

those wheels are 5 stud - my Mk2 1.8s has 4 stud hubs? are you sure they are correct for your car?
