Can anybody help me, i am trying to find out how much my ‘5’ weights. Its a Mk1, 1995, 1.8, the no-options version (i.e no power assist, ABS, Airbag, or power anything). Its got the dealer fit 5 spoke alloys on it rather than the steel wheels it would have been supplied with.
No real reason for asking but i’m just curious how much all the power stuff adds to the weight of the car.

The original Mk1 1.6 apparently came in at 940kg, So I think the bogo standard entry level 1800 Mk1 (With all the upper and lower rear suspension bracing and a physically bigger/Heavier engine) only being 990kg was a pretty good achievement by Mazda.
