Hi, I have just joined tonight and am looking at a '98 1.8 in red with hardtop (Genuine Mazda with car from new) Spec is:
Cloth seats, driver/pass airbag, elec windows, pas, wood effect trim, 64,000 miles part Mazda s/h, alloys.
Just wondering if this is a special edition, it is a UK car. Price is £3,249. Should I be wary? supposedly a member of this club who has 5 MX5s’ has already looked at it and stated it is immaculate.

For that money I’d look at the supercharged Merlot for sale on the forum - seems nicely presented, and on offer for the same money!

Thanks for the info guys. I have looked at the Merlot but just wanting to get a good standard model as the wife is gonna have a canary when I roll up with a 5 as it is. [8o|] I think that represents her disposition when I eventually get one.
