Mx5 mk3 sport, should I lower?

Before

After

Thanks Nick. Is this the 30mm Eibach lowering? Apart from the aesthetics, does it make a huge difference to anything else?

TVM! :sunglasses:

Hi Timmy, yes I have Eibach lowering springs. The result is a slight improvement in cornering, and far less roll. This, accompanied with 25mm spacers all around has made my 5 very compliant when chucking it down B roads. I have no intention to take it on track, so the improvement v cost made this an easy purchase. I considered MeisterR coilovers, but couldn’t justify the additional cost. I’m sure they’re a bigger improvement, but I have no regrets

These are the springs I bought:

Nick,

Great, thanks so much, really appreciate your thoughts! :+1::sunglasses:

Trust me, All in all you chose the right way to lower your car. 90% of those who buy Coilovers Hardly ever use their adjustments, and if you are not going on the track just using her as normal. It really comes down to just a better look ! And these MX5s look 100% nicer when lowered 30mm ands spaced 25mm They look like a different car, Those measurements are a tried and tested formula ! Carried out on hundreds of MX5s For that reason… So, enjoy. Best regards from Ray in Essex

Another newbie question! What does “spaced 25mm” mean? :man_shrugging:

Hub centric spacers attached to the hubs, wheels then attached to them.
