Wow. I thought this may have just been me but on reading the OP I’m starting to think I wasn’t just “unlucky”. I bought a Silver MK2.5 back in March 2021 which was a Cat C. It was only £800 so the plan was to have it until the September and then sell. I went to the Mazdadudes after recommendations on this forum to get the airbag controller replaced / reset and they did a great job, even replaced the centre console with the right one as well as sorted a time-bomb of a start-stop that was wire…
