I am in need of a new thermostat for a 55plate NC1.
Looking at the MX5parts site it gives two different part numbers which you can supposedly identify by your chassis number, i have my log book in hand but my chassis number doesn’t match any of the MX5parts numbers unless i am missing something.
Or can i just order the long pipe one and trim it down by 30mm?

It’s the long neck one, I fitted similar to mine, if you have the short neck fitted just trim the large hose on your car by approx 30mm👍

I had seen that one at £26.19p but couldn’t see a brand name.
I found this one at £16.99p branded Quinton Hazell which is a brand i’ve used many times, now ordered.
Yep I just picked a random one rather than suggest the (in my opinion) expensive Mx5parts offering. It’s Autolink so they should supply decent quality parts.
Opie oils did one for around £12 a Mahle branded one, since they don’t keep or can’t get them any longer prices have shot up since you know what happened.
