MX5 RF external black plastic rear windows

Hi,

just traded in my 20th Anniversary Edition for an RF. The fake black plastic rear quarter light windows have some light scratches on them. Does anyone use anything on those to remove the scratches and also any polish you can recommend to make them shine?

Do you have a Machine polisher? If so, a small medium or finishing pad and a light polish will see off the scratches

Can be done by hand, but dont apply too much pressure and apply some protection (Sealant or Wax) to finish

You could also use Turtle Wax “Black Chrome” polish. It even hides scratches on the pretend carbon fibre interior door switch panels!

Just a thought for the future. If they got badly scratched or scuffed then I would imagine it would be a simple job to get them wrapped in a gloss black.
