Just a question after having been involved a bit with the RAC Rally recently. Has anyone ever gravel stage rallied an MX5. I know that they are used in trials and probably tarmac rallying but wondered about loose surface rallying.
I think more so in the States; look up Keith Tanner.
We’ve had MX5s on our Targa rally in Herefordshire and also the 60 & Worcester Club Targa. Short rally, multi surface - gravel, grass, runway concrete etc. MX5 is fine for this if not lowered.

I can see Targa rallying growing, it’s really grassroots, no need for a lot of special equipment or licences.
